Muffuletta Sandwich
Muffulettas are a classic New Orleans sandwich that pack so much flavour and highlights your favourite deli meats! This is personally one of my favourite sandwiches, because I love anything to do with with pickled veg, and olives! The olive salad combines all the best condiments and truly brings all the flavour to the sandwich!
Greek-Inspired Chicken Cutlet Plates
This is the perfect spring meal, implementing some delicious, in-season produce like, arugula, radishes, spring onions, and fresh herbs! One of my favourite chicken dishes is chicken souvlaki, and since we’re treating our chicken cutlets like so, they retain all that flavour, with an extra crispy texture. If you have ever had a chicken cutlet that had no flavour, you’ll LOVE this recipe.
Cheese Cappelletti
As a kid, our family would always go to East Side Mario’s for a cheap and easy meal (especially in the early 2000’s), and the only thing I would order was the cheese cappelletti. It’s a comforting, delicious meal, with cheesy stuffed pasta, tossed in a rosé sauce, with melted cheese on top. If that wasn’t enough, you also got it topped with lots of fresh parmesan, because there can never be enough cheese. Truly.
Cheddar and Potato Pierogies
My grandma always prepped countless bags of pierogies to share with the family growing up, and they were one of my absolute favourite comfort meals to enjoy with soft onions and crispy bacon. I hope this becomes a classic in your family too!
Kataifi Ice Cream Sandwiches
These ice cream sandwiches are crispy, satisfying, and so easy to make! The kataifi layers are buttery and golden, and stay crunchy even with a thick layer of creamy vanilla ice cream in between them! I can’t wait to eat these in the summer!
Caesar Dense Bean Salad
This high-protein salad is for the Caesar lovers! This salad’s base is kale, which holds up all week long without getting soggy, and includes cannellini beans, chickpeas and grilled chicken, with a greek yogurt dressing to coat it!
Cheddar Bay Biscuit Chicken Pot Pie
This dish is a perfect combination of my favourite comfort foods. I saw this viral recipe a few months ago, and have been thinking about it ever since! Red Lobster’s cheddar bay biscuits are undeniably addictive, so I made a copycat version, where they get baked until crispy, on top of a creamy chicken filling, then brushed with garlic butter, of course!
This dish takes just over an hour to prepare, but it’s perfect for picky eaters, or just an easy weeknight dinner!
Marry-Me Chicken Dense Bean Salad
The “Marry me” chicken has been a viral dish for many years. It combines a creamy sun-dried tomato basil sauce with tender chicken breast, usually served with pasta! I’ve definitely tried that dish many times and always loved it, so I thought, why not turn it into a bean salad!
Mediterranean Pasta Salad
If I need to meal-prep for lunch or make a simple side dish for a barbecue, I am always making this pasta salad! It’s perfect to make ahead of time, and it combines all my favourite flavours while still being healthy and satiating!
How to Make an Insane Burrito
Burritos are my absolute favourite, and I’m willing to do anything possible to have a delicious burrito! They are easily customizable, and so worth the effort, in my opinion.
KFC Inspired Famous Bowl
As a kid, we always stopped at KFC before going up to camp, and the popcorn chicken was always my favourite. The combination of fluffy mashed potatoes, crispy chicken bites, and a savoury gravy is the definition of a comfort meal! You can whip this up in less than an hour and it hits every time.
Grinder-Style Bean Salad
I have been obsessed with the grinder sandwich that went viral a few years ago! But since it’s the new year, I’m looking for ways to make more balanced meals that have more protein, good fats, lots of fibre, and keep me full all afternoon!
How to make a Greek-Inspired Feast
The perfect line-up for a delicious Greek-inspired feast!
Cheesy Stuffed Crust Pizza
Making homemade pizza can be a quick, easy, and enjoyable experience! I do occasionally order in, but sometimes I’m craving a specific pizza that only I can make!
This is my favourite pizza recipe that takes less than 2 hours from start to finish. As a kid, my family and I used to love going to Pizza Hut, and this pizza is definitely inspired by their cheesy crusts.
Sloppy Joe Baked Potatoes
This is one of my favourite recipes in my cookbook! Sloppy joes have always been a nostalgic meal for me. The sweet and savoury beef has the flavours of chili, but only takes 30 minutes to become perfectly tender and flavourful. If you want more easy and delicious recipes, check out my cookbook ‘Best of the Bowl’ which you can order here!
Cheesy Roasted Garlic Buns
These roasted garlic buns have the best of both worlds - a crispy, cheesy exterior, with a buttery soft interior. These can be made with homemade buns or store-bought and can be put together while you’re making a delectable supper.
The Best Homemade Lasagna
This lasagna is one of my absolute favourite meals. I can’t tell which I love more: the slowly braised ragu sauce, the creamy ricotta béchamel, or the tender noodles that melt in your mouth—or maybe it’s all of the above. With a little love and effort, you can make the best Sunday supper that your whole family will absolutely love!
Spicy Vodka Gnocchi with Mini Sausage Meatballs
This sauce will always be my favourite, and something I always crave! The soft, pillowy gnocchi pair so well with the creamy sauce, and it instantly becomes a restaurant quality dish!
If you’re not in the mood for crumbled sausage - mini sausage meatballs are the answer!
Easy Crispy Chicken Wings
This recipe is my go-to when to comes to deep-fried chicken wings. It requires little to no prep, and the wings come out perfectly seasoned and crispy, every time. This makes it stress-free for a tailgate or a watch-party, because you can have plenty of wings to go around and will be done cooking in less than an hour!
Butter Chicken with Easy Garlic Naan
Butter Chicken is one of my favourites, and I’ve been making it ever since I learned how to cook! This is a dish I love to make when I’m sick and I’m in need of a little bit of heat. The buttery garlic naan is perfect to mop up the thick and creamy sauce.
