Cheesy Roasted Garlic Buns

These roasted garlic buns have the best of both worlds - a crispy, cheesy exterior, with a buttery soft interior. These can be made with homemade buns or store-bought and can be put together on the sidelines while you’re making a delectable supper.

To make the roasted garlic:
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F. Slice the top quarter off the garlic bulb. Add to a piece of tin foil and drizzle the bulb with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and wrap up with the tin foil.
  2. Bake for 40 minutes or until browned and soft.
  3. Meanwhile, cut an '+' in the top of the dinner rolls and add to a baking pan. When the garlic is ready, allow to cool for a few minutes before touching.
  4. Combine melted butter, roasted garlic, grated fresh garlic, parsley, oregano, and blitz using an immersion blender.
  5. Using a brush, brush the mixture on the inside of the buns, as well as coating the outside.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes, just until the the tops of the buns are golden brown and the butter has seeped through the buns.
  7. Serve with fresh parmesan and enjoy!
