Muffuletta Sandwich
Muffulettas are a classic New Orleans sandwich that pack so much flavour and highlights your favourite deli meats! This is personally one of my favourite sandwiches, because I love anything to do with with pickled veg, and olives! The olive salad combines all the best condiments and truly brings all the flavour to the sandwich!
Greek-Inspired Chicken Cutlet Plates
This is the perfect spring meal, implementing some delicious, in-season produce like, arugula, radishes, spring onions, and fresh herbs! One of my favourite chicken dishes is chicken souvlaki, and since we’re treating our chicken cutlets like so, they retain all that flavour, with an extra crispy texture. If you have ever had a chicken cutlet that had no flavour, you’ll LOVE this recipe.
Cheese Cappelletti
As a kid, our family would always go to East Side Mario’s for a cheap and easy meal (especially in the early 2000’s), and the only thing I would order was the cheese cappelletti. It’s a comforting, delicious meal, with cheesy stuffed pasta, tossed in a rosé sauce, with melted cheese on top. If that wasn’t enough, you also got it topped with lots of fresh parmesan, because there can never be enough cheese. Truly.
Caesar Dense Bean Salad
This high-protein salad is for the Caesar lovers! This salad’s base is kale, which holds up all week long without getting soggy, and includes cannellini beans, chickpeas and grilled chicken, with a greek yogurt dressing to coat it!
Marry-Me Chicken Dense Bean Salad
The “Marry me” chicken has been a viral dish for many years. It combines a creamy sun-dried tomato basil sauce with tender chicken breast, usually served with pasta! I’ve definitely tried that dish many times and always loved it, so I thought, why not turn it into a bean salad!
Mediterranean Pasta Salad
If I need to meal-prep for lunch or make a simple side dish for a barbecue, I am always making this pasta salad! It’s perfect to make ahead of time, and it combines all my favourite flavours while still being healthy and satiating!
Grinder-Style Bean Salad
I have been obsessed with the grinder sandwich that went viral a few years ago! But since it’s the new year, I’m looking for ways to make more balanced meals that have more protein, good fats, lots of fibre, and keep me full all afternoon!
Pulled Pork on Rosemary Parmesan Buns
This was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a very long time. The saucy barbecue pulled pork, fresh coleslaw, and with a fluffy toasted rosemary parmesan bun, is the perfect combination. Your house will smell amazing after, and there’s very little active cooking/prep time.
Savoury Crepes
Crepes are so easy, light and delicious. It’s one of my favourite breakfasts to make on the weekend when I have more time and I can make breakfast for my loved ones! Sweet crepes are amazing (you can use this recipe for them) but sometimes I prefer a savoury crepe that is cheesy, with a runny egg. If you’ve ever been intimidated by making crepes, try this recipe for a trial run!
Dill and Chive Potato Pancakes
Sometimes pirogies are intimating to make because they’re a little time consuming. But if you’re craving the flavour of pirogies, with half of the effort, these potato pancakes are for you. They have the same flavour and toppings, such as, bacon, onions and sour cream! They’re a classic comfort food in my household.
Chicken Burrito Bowls
I’m obsessed with burritos and burrito bowls and this one was so satisfying to try! It’s perfect for bigger families, because you can customize them any way you like. The chicken is so juicy and pairs so well with the fresh ingredients!
Braised Beef Grilled Cheese
This is a fool-proof way for making grilled cheese and is made especially delicious with the addition of braised beef!
Fried Chicken Clubhouse Sandwich
This huge sandwich was a delicious take on the classic C.L.U.B with the regular chicken substituted with thin slices of perfectly crispy fried chicken. My favourite white bread recipe, I’ve included in the notes!
Lobster Rolls
My sister brought me back fresh Lobster meat from when she visited the East Coast, so of course, I had to make Lobster Rolls! I’ve never had one so I measured to taste and they turned out fantastic!
Easy Homemade Pizza
This pizza recipe is my go-to for when I’m craving pizza. It takes an hour, total, to put together, and anyone can do it!
Classic Fish and Chips
These beer battered fish and chips are so easy and perfect for a summer dinner. The fish is paired with a delectable dill tartar sauce, that is bright, lemony and great for the light and crispy fish.
Soy Glazed Salmon Bowls
This colourful bowl includes pickled and fresh veggies, salty seaweed, sushi rice and the most tender and flakey salmon. It's a colourful bowl that will make dinner that much better!
Big Mac Inspired Tacos
This interesting combination of a burger with a taco work perfectly together. The tangy thousand-isle dressing with the smashed burger was easy to put together and is easily on my monthly rotation!
Pizza Panino
This simple yet delectable sandwich combines the best part of pizza with the convenience fo a sandwich. If you’d like to take a shot at making your own mozzarella cheese, you’ll realize it’s pretty easy!
