Big Mac Inspired Tacos
This interesting combination of a burger with a taco work perfectly together. The tangy thousand-isle dressing with the smashed burger was easy to put together and is easily on my monthly rotation!

Instructions
For tortillas:
- Whisk flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Add in softened butter and mix with your hands to incorporate the butter.
- Add the hot water to the mixture, and stir until a shaggy dough forms. Transfer to a flat surface and knead for 10 minutes or until a smooth dough forms.
- Add to a greased bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let rest for an hour.
- When ready to cook, split the dough into 8 equal parts. Roll out the balls into desired tortilla size.
- Heat a cast iron pan to medium-high heat. Add a tortilla and cook for 2-3 minutes until the tortilla bubbles, flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Set aside.
To cook the tacos:
- Spread the 85g of ground beef on each tortilla. Season with salt & pepper.
- In the meantime, dice onion, slice pickles, grate cheese, and shred lettuce.
- Cook the tacos on medium high heat, meat side down for 3-5 minutes or until it develops a crust. Flip and add the shredded cheese, cover pan and cook for another minute or until crispy.
- To plate, add sauce and desired toppings to your tacos and enjoy!
