Easy Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

This banana bread is incredibly easy to make and is the most tender recipe you’ll find! It’s the perfect snack, or breakfast, and is the most delicious with a little butter spread on top!

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, cream sugar and butter with an egg beater until light in colour.
  2. In a medium bowl, add in your bananas, and mash until fully broken down. Add in the eggs and vanilla and mix. Fold the banana/mixture into the creamed butter.
  3. Add in your flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt, and beat until combined. Use a spatula to scrape down the sides to ensure it’s evenly combined. Add in your chopped chocolate, saving some for the top.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350F. Meanwhile, allow the batter to rest at room temperature for 20 minutes.
  5. Spray a loaf pan with cooking spray, and line with parchment paper.
  6. Add your batter into the pan and top with additional chocolate & walnuts. Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a skewer runs clean when poked in the middle of the loaf.
  7. Allow to cool for 20 minutes before slicing and enjoying!
